AICE Media Studies Music Video Blog

Music Video It's Omare and welcome back to another blog. Today I completed my music video and it was fun but not easy. This music video has been a tough road. It was kind of hard to form ideas on my own, but once I had the right idea the process started to flow easier. I decided to make my music video on the song Basketball by Kurtis Blow. I made this decision because I enjoy the sport basketball. Also I assumed it wouldn't be too difficult. I enjoyed filming this music video. I hope to do something like this in the near future. Despite this long process I'm glad you were here keeping up with this journey.

Editing Blog Hi, Hello, and welcome back to another blog. So far, the second day of editing has gone smoothly. I finished the music video. I was able to edit myself shooting and dribbling a basketball in my music video. Following that, I added the real highlight to the video. So I'm simply shooting and dribbling for the first few seconds. After that, it displays a close up shot of me watching the highlight. In film and television, a close up shot is a form of camera shot size that adds emotion to a scene. It dissolves to the actual highlight after a close-up shot. A dissolve is a form of film transition in which one sequence fades over another in the post-production process of film editing and video editing. Some of the footage I shot had to be edited out. I also had to add a scene It displayed a split screen showing me laying up the ball after a scene of me shooting a basketball. Split screen refers to the presen

I was able to complete half of the music video. In my music video I was able to edit myself shooting and dribbling a basketball. After that I implemented the actual highlight in the video. So the first few seconds is me just shooting and dribbling. After It shows a close up shot of me watching the highlight, a close up shot is a type of camera shot size in film and television that adds emotion to a scene. After a close up shot it then dissolve to the actual highlight. In the post-production process of film editing and video editing, a dissolve is a type of film transition in which one sequence fades over another. I did have to edit out some parts that I filmed. For instance I had to edit out the scene of me shooting a basketball then it showed a split screen of me laying up the ball. Split screen is the combination of

Filming Blog Hi, I'm Omare and welcome to another blog. The second day of filming was incredible. I was able to do a good 35 seconds of my music video . I was able to film my first scene where I was able to dribble up and down the court . I did a wide angle shot. A wide-angle shot, also known as a long shot, is a shot that shows the subject in their surroundings. A wide angle shot tells the audience who is in the scene, where the scene is occurring, and when the scene is occurring. Then I was able to film a zoom shot to see the highlights up close. With a zoom shot, the focal length of a camera lens is set in such a way as to create the illusion that one is closer to or further from the subject. Zoom recordings are made with a zoom lens that has variable focal lengths. I hope to edit next week. I also plan to finish my music video. I'm going to do a scene with a close-up of my

Filming Blog Hello I’m Omare and welcome back to another blog. First day of filming  was amazing. I was able to get a good 45 seconds of my music video done. I was able to do my first scene where I had my self dribbling a basketball. I filmed a wide shot.  A wide shot, also called a long shot or a full shot, is a shot that shows the subject within their surrounding environment . A wide shot tells the audience who is in the scene, where the scene is set, and when the scene takes place. Then I was able to film a zoom shot getting a close up on the highlight. A zoom shot is when the focal length of a camera lens is adjusted to give the illusion of moving closer or further away from the subject . Zoom shots are done with a zoom lens, which have variable focal shots. Next week I hope to edit. Also I plan to finish my music video. I’m going to do a scene where it shows a closeup of me shooting a basketball. Then I plan to
