Today I will be doing research on the music video Basketball by Kurtis Blow. This is probably the most famous song written about the sport of basketball. Kurtis is a huge fan, and wanted to pay tribute. The song was recorded and released in 1984. The idea of the song came from Kurtis Blow's wife. Kurtis wanted to make a song that had never been made before so his wife suggested that he make a song about basketball. The music uses various lighting to have a bright positive mood. The music video also uses various jump cuts.                                                                 Commercial Blog It's Omare and welcome back to another blog. Today I completed my commercial and it was fun but not easy. This commercial has been a tough road. It was kind of hard to form ideas on my own, but once I had the right idea the process started to flow easier. I decided to make my commercial on Jordan Brand. I made this decision because Michael Jordan is one of my favorite players all time. Also I own multiple Jordan Brand apparel. I enjoyed filming this commercial. I hope to do something like this in the near future. Despite this long process I'm glad you were here keeping up with this journey.

In my Commercial I hope to have a scene of me watching a clip of Michael Jordan. I hope to take a zoom shot. A zoom shot is basically  Taken with a lens that has a variable focal length. A zoom shot is one that permits the cinematographer to change the lens. Focal length  and thus the apparent size of the subject within the frame. Without moving the camera. As I continue to zoom in. The commercial will then switch to thee actual clip. Once the commercial switches to the actual clip. I will then try to replicate the clip I saw with Jordan Brand shoes.
