Editing Blog
Hi, Hello, my name is Omare, and welcome back to another blog. So far, the first day of editing has gone well. I was able to finish half of the horror movie. I was able to edit myself slashing and killing in my horror film. Following that, I added the actual sound effect to the video. So the first few seconds consist of me slashing and killing. After that, it shows a close-up shot of me watching the people attempting to flee; a close-up shot is a type of camera shot size used in film and television to add emotion to a scene. It then dissolves to the actual highlight after a close-up shot. A dissolve is a type of effect used in the post-production process of film and video editing. One sequence fades over another in a film transition. I did have to cut some of the footage I shot. For example, I had to cut out a scene in which I was attempting to chase someone, and it then showed a split screen of me and the person running. The combination of two or more separate scenes films that appear in the same frame is known as split screen. I was also able to show a close-up of myself attempting to slash someone. In film and television, a close-up shot is a type of camera shot size that adds emotion to a scene. It frames an actor's face tightly, making their reaction the main focus of the frame. I was also able to accomplish the same feat with my jump scare sequences To sum it all up. Today was a great day for editing. I can't wait to get back to editing tomorrow.
